See: I Kings 18:36-46: (King James Version and The Message)
God of our Fathers, it is time for us to come to you in prayer. You are the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Make it known to us today that you are the God of the United States of America. We who come before you in prayer this day are your servants. We will obey your commands, and acknowledge your judgments. Answer us dear Father, and reveal to all the people that you are God, the true God and that your are giving the people of South Texas, USA, the opportunity to recognize that you are God through your mighty act of sending rain to the drought stricken of the State of Texas. We call upon your Holy, Powerful Name. We believe that rain is on the way. We will hear it coming. We will praise you Name above every Name. From ocean, mountain, hill and plain we bow deeply in prayer, with our faces bowed before you. We face the sea, and look for your answer. Even when we don’t see a thing, we will continue to trust in you O God of Heaven and Earth. From a cloud no bigger than someone’s hand you drew water out of the sea, after Elijah the Prophet prayed. Do It Again. Let it happened so fast that no one can prepare. Let the skies grow black with wind driven clouds and then from a huge cloudburst of rain. Let the rain fall upon all of South Texas.
